We Progress From One Stage To Another, Time Never Stops | By - Natalie Simmons

Photo Description: This picture was taken by my daughter at our home. She told me that she noticed a large moth on the wall of our garage. The wind was blowing on the moth, which was clearly trying to seek shelter. She said she felt bad, so to help the moth, my daughter gently nudged the moth onto her hand. My daughter photographed this Tetrio Sphinx moth and said that it stayed on her hand for more than ten minutes, resting. From this picture, I realized that time waits for nobody. Tetrio Sphinx moths only live for 1 to 2 weeks before dying. We as humans only stay children for a time, then we become young adults and then seniors. There are blessings that come with each stage of life. From playing with your classmates as kids, to reading your children bed time stories as a parent, to going to the beach with your grandchildren. Each phase is very special. In this photo we get to see this beautiful creature in its very short last stage of life, a moment to truly be treasured.
